Real native components, not a web view
Key things to know about React Native
React Native is an open-source framework from Meta, released in 2015. You write the app in JavaScript or TypeScript with React, and it renders real native components on iPhone and Android.
That is the difference from older “hybrid” apps: there is no web page inside a wrapper. Buttons, lists and navigation are the platform’s own, so the app looks and feels like it belongs on the phone.
It suits most business apps — marketplaces, bookings, social, fintech dashboards, internal tools. For heavy 3D games or apps that live on custom hardware, we’ll tell you when fully native is the better call.

Is React Native front-end or back-end?
Front-end. React Native builds the app people hold in their hand. The server behind it — APIs, databases, payments — is built separately, usually with Node.js, and we build both.
How much does a React Native app cost?
It depends on the features, the number of screens and the back-end. Because one codebase covers iOS and Android, it usually costs noticeably less than two native apps. We give a fixed estimate after a short discovery call.
How long does it take to build a React Native app?
